The gastronomic traditions of Forallac are to be found in a varied selection at over 10 restaurants and numerous bars in the area which base their culinary offers on Catalan and Empordà cuisine, using quality products from the local area. The area, and Peratallada in particular, have become a culinary reference in the Costa Brava area.

Two culinary events are held every year in Peratallada in order to promote our traditional cuisine. One in spring, “La cuina de l'Horta” (Fresh garden cuisine) and the other in autumn “La Cuina de l'aviram” (Free-Range Poultry Cuisine), in which our leading participating restaurants create special menus based on the products associated with each event.
